Privacy and analytics

This notice covers lakehouse-plumber.dev. The linked documentation, GitHub, PyPI, and Databricks services have their own privacy practices.

Your analytics choice

Google Analytics is off until you allow it.

Google Analytics loads only after you allow it. Declining keeps it off. You can change your choice here or in the website footer. We remember your choice in this browser's local storage for up to 180 days. If storage is unavailable, your choice applies to the current page only.

When you withdraw consent, we disable Google collection, remove this website's Google Analytics cookies, and reload the page to remove the running Google tag. This does not delete data already sent. A browser's Global Privacy Control signal keeps Google Analytics off.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

We use Cloudflare's cookie-free analytics to understand page views, referrers, device and browser categories, and page performance. It runs independently of the optional Google Analytics choice and does not use analytics cookies or local storage identifiers. Cloudflare also delivers and protects the website.

Read Cloudflare's explanation of Web Analytics and its privacy policy.

Optional Google Analytics

When allowed, Google Analytics measures page views and engagement, campaign attribution, resource link clicks, opening the agent dialog, and successful copies of setup prompts, learning prompts, or installation commands. These events help us understand which paths people use to get started.

Our custom events send only fixed labels such as the selected agent, setup or learning mode, resource category, and button location. They do not send copied prompt text, clipboard contents, project names, or code. Our page-view configuration removes query strings and fragments from page URLs and referrers; recognized campaign parameters are handled separately.

Google may process browser and device information, cookie identifiers, usage data, and approximate location. Google Analytics cookies are limited to this hostname and configured to expire after 180 days. Advertising storage, advertising personalization, and Google signals are disabled in our tag configuration.

See Google's privacy policy and how Google uses information from partner sites. Browser privacy settings and content blockers may prevent collection.

Website analytics and LHP telemetry

These website measurements are separate from the LHP command-line tool's telemetry. See the LHP telemetry documentation for that feature's settings and behavior.

For questions about this website, use the project discussions; avoid posting personal information in public.
