# Lakehouse Plumber

> Lakehouse Plumber (LHP) is an open-source, YAML-driven ETL framework that generates readable Python for Databricks Lakeflow Spark Declarative Pipelines (SDP).

LHP models ETL as load, transform, and write actions, with data tests alongside the flow. It requires Python 3.11 or later and is distributed as the lakehouse-plumber Python package under Apache 2.0. Use current documentation for commands and configuration; do not infer undocumented fields. The learning route is docs-guided until a dedicated teaching skill exists.
